The Red Pill or the Blue Pill?

So let’s have some fun folks!

Taking the Redpill
“You take the blue pill, the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”
I’m sure most people are either familiar with the movie The Matrix or have heard the above quote.
It’s an interesting premise I think. Let’s have a discussion and see how we can relate this to trading!
To start with, I will just be open about my own personal frame of reference for all of this upfront. You will probably not agree with my worldview but let’s have a discussion about it. Click on the link in the footer to leave a comment for me on Facebook.

I believe that the proposition of evolution of the world and everything in it is complete and utter rubbish and fails even the most basic scrutiny. Pretty much since the invention of the electron microscope in the 1950’s (I think) it’s impossible to sustain. Fantastic animations on youtube you can watch:

Even that great disciple of Evolution and Atheist Richard Dawkins has turned to Pan Spermia – the idea that we were seeded on earth by Aliens because to him, better that than to admit there is a God who created us. Anyway, that is not the subject of this post, just background so you can see where I am coming from.

I’m also going to link another video here.

Are we having fun yet? Hahaha!

Have a look also if you are interested at Chuck Missler’s Book Beyond Perception. Available from Amazon.

In this Book, Missler gives the case that scientists say we live in 10 dimensional reality, not just the 4 dimensional (x,y,z and time) space we are aware of.

Also consider this. If you keep cutting something in half, you will eventually reach a finite size known as Planck’s length (1.616199 x 10-35 m give or take….) This is all part of Quantum Physics. The conclusion at the end of the day is that nothing is actually real but that we are actually living in a digital simulation.

Hmm. So how does this make sense with the Bible saying we are made in the image of God? How do we reconcile any of this?

The Bible tells us that God exists outside of time and He can see the end from the beginning.

Is it consistent to see us as being body, soul and spirit? What happens when we die? I think it’s biblically accurate to say that our body returns to the earth, our spirit returns to God who breathed it into us and our soul – the real us is the eternal part? So in this sense, all matter is just energy that is taking a different form – trees, animals, people etc all held together by the word of God as per the bible.

This to me gives an explanation of the physical and spiritual worlds – we are only aware of things in our 4 dimensions but things are happening outside those dimensions. So for instance, Phillip in the New Testament left one place and was instantly transported to another location. Jesus walked through walls. I’m not building a doctrine on this folks! This is just something that makes some kind of sense with my limited human understanding. It also provides some kind of framework for where I am going with the whole redpill thing.

One of the books often criticised by people as ‘magical thinking’ is Think & Grow rich by Napoleon Hill. (usually criticised by the same people who believe in the magical thinking called Evolution – but I digress)

There’s literally hundreds of versions of this on Amazon and elsewhere. You should also be able to find a PDF copy on the internet for free.

I will readily admit that the final few chapters of this book are frankly weird! Apparently if you are so inclined, you can hold a seance with Henry Ford himself for advice……

It starts off fairly innocuously with chapter titles as follows:

  • Desire
  • Faith
  • Auto-Suggestion
  • Specialised Knowledge
  • Imagination
  • Organised Planning
  • Decision
  • Persistence
  • Power of the mastermind
  • The mystery of sex transmutation
  • The subconscious mind
  • The brain
  • The sixth sense
  • How to outwit the six ghosts of fear
  • The devil’s workshop

It should be obvious immediately to the astute observer that the ‘magical thinking’ crowd did not get past the second chapter but again I digress!

For me, The premise that you have a desire for something, faith that you will get it, programming your subconscious mind and imagining you have something is like Duh!

In the Bible, Genesis 1:3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. See – who was God talking to? There was no one there but His words were creative. The first spoken words in history had nothing to do with communication but creation. We are made in the image of God and every day through our thoughts and words we create the world we live in. in the book of Job, Job says that which I most feared has come upon me. We need to be very careful what we say and think because we are creating our future every day. We need to see what we want, need to see us possessing it and then it will come to pass. If we want to kill our future, negative thinking and speaking and a diet of 24/7 news will kill it quick. We should be careful what gets planted in our minds.

Henry Ford said Whether you think you can, or you think you can‘t–you’re right.

See there are 2 types of people in this like. Winners and Losers. Losers are characterised by Blaming others and Making Excuses for everything. Nothing is ever their fault. This is playing below the line. This is how you become a victim with a victim mentality. Winners take responsibility. Winners are Victors. Winners play above the line.

I’m actually reading another great book at the moment.

He says the exact same thing. Every single thing that happens in your life is your responsibility. Sure things happen TO you that are out of your control but how that event affects you is 100% up to you. It’s actually worth reading even though some of the language particularly in the early chapters will remove wallpaper at 10 paces. I recommend it.

This is really going against the flow. Thinking differently. Taking responsibility. Taking the red pill. Believing in yourself and backing yourself.
